Additional Announcements
The Kirk Session is reminded of their meeting this Tuesday evening, and the Property committee is reminded of their meeting this Thursday evening. Both meetings at 8pm.
There is no Tots this Wednesday, due to some of the local schools being closed.
This Wednesday there is a band parade in the villages, which may affect those travelling to the Midweek meeting. The parade begins at 7:30pm, so we suggest that those coming to Midweek try to arrive before 7:30. We will have a cup of tea in the hall for those arriving early, and you can go out and watch the parade pass if you wish. Alternatively, come prepared to park further out and then walk to the church. The Templemoyle gate will be open for those wishing to walk through. The Midweek meeting will start at 8pm as usual, and Stephen will be continuing his series on the 5 solas of the Reformation.
We hope to have a church family bring-your-own picnic on The Green some Sunday afternoon in June. We will keep an eye on the weather, and try to let you know by the Wednesday beforehand, announcing it at the Midweek and putting it out on social media and whatsapp groups, when there is a Sunday that looks sunny. When you hear the word, please pass it on to others. All in our congregation, young, old and in between, are encouraged to come along, bring a folding chair or a rug, and spend time together in a relaxed way.
Holiday Bible Club is fast approaching and all those who help with the club need to have an AccessNI check from PCI. If you are hoping to help this year, but do not have a PCI AccessNI certificate please could you speak to William McCaughey or Kat Kerr and begin to move through that process.
Also, we would like to begin gathering names of those who can help at the Holiday Bible Club. There are lists available today in the vestibule and on the coffee dock. If you can help in any way, please add your name, and indicate which days you will be able to come.
